Tree Felling, Removal and Dismantling
Tree felling or removal, is the process of cutting down or dismantling a tree so that it is completely removed from a space. Requiring specialist tools and equipment, as well as the correct licenses, it can be a very complicated and dangerous task that is best undertaken by a competent and qualified tree surgeon.
At quotation stage, we will discuss with you the options for the tree and the process needed if removal is the best option. We will also complete the application for any necessary permissions from the local council if the tree has a Tree Protection Order (TPO) on it or is in a conservation area. When Alan visits the site, he will inspect the tree and the surrounding area for any potential hazards that may influence how the job is carried out. This can be looking for any decay or disease in the tree, or assessing the area around the tree in case of power lines, buildings or other structures which may need to be avoided. These will all be discussed with you at quotation stage.
The tools and equipment that are needed to carry out the work will depend on the size and complexity of the tree removal in question. Here at AG Tree Services Ltd we have a wide variety of specialist equipment, including our tractor and timber trailer which means we can remove large cuts of timber with ease.
Once the removal is complete, we can also completely remove the stump using one of our stump grinders.

Was very impressed with the work ethic. The quote was reasonable. I had two large trees removed, one Sycamore, one Apple, everything was taken away and the areas tidied even though the weather was miserable. Would recommend them highly for their workmanship.

Alan took time and trouble to understand that what was required (tidying up and preserving a lovely old tree) and the quote he then provided was both clear and fair. The work undertaken by Maddie and Charlie was first-rate: they took great trouble with the pruning, leaving my tree looking so much better and the garden perfectly tidy. Alan and the team did a great job of reducing the size of our two overgrown silver birches. Left the site clean and tidy and were a great company to do business with from initial contact with the office to giving advice after the job was completed. Highly recommended.
